WOW Brent! Fantastic race you are running. It is so much fun to watch you and the dogs do what we all knew you were capable of... now everyone else knows it too. Ken better watch over his shoulder. Get a good rest in Dawson (that means sleep!) and enjoy the rest of the trail.
Mark, Aren and Kyla- keep up the good work and thanks for the updates.

GO BRENT!
We're rooting you on from our new place in Idaho....check on the race and your status at least 5x daily.
After hearing your interview on KUAC last night (how upbeat & confident you came across), I want to share how your mood carried over -- Scene from cozy bed -- Ongoing game of Gin, I'm down 300 for the win, behind Carroll by 150 points and I proclaim with much confidence and vigor "I'm going to do a 'BRENT SASS'"! (Come from behind, take the lead and then WIN!!!). I DID! Woo Hoo!
WE HAVE CONFIDENCE IN YOUR ABILITY TO RUN A GREAT RACE. You're already giving us, 'the folks at home' a great show and read.
The race has been a challenging one this year....keep the RAILS DOWN and keep going at GOD'S SPEED - You'll finish just where you're supposed to.....You're #1 with us and we are here encouraging and applauding you on every step of the way!!!
Say HI to Josh for us if you see him.

WA-HOO greyt interview, Brent!! What a race you're running!
I'm still trying to contain myself, and not check your site a thousand times, but I check all the other sites lots! It is so fun to see our favorite musher doing so well, and getting press for it.
Funny - like another comment on this post - we too have new vocabulary in the house - Pull A Brent. It's been cold-for-us here in Kirkland, and when I get cold handling the greyhounds, I remember you saying "if I'm cold, I'm not working hard enough", and I pull a Brent and just work harder. Mike's been telling me to Pull A Brent on those rare occasions :) when I get grumpy. "Attitude, Pooh, Attitude!".
Did you know when you got into mushing, you'd be such an inspiration? :)
Here's to a smiling musher and wagging tails!
Mark, Aren, and Kyla - thanks for keeping us up to date - and groovy to see your pictures in the press too.
Hugs, nits, roos 'n howls, -Pat
